LymeSpouse Discussions

There are going to be many times when your loved one isn't going to be able to support you, especially in the ways that you may have grown accustomed to before they were infected.

Anger. Frustration. Guilt. Feelings of being overwhelmed. As a spouse or family member of someone who is dealing with a TBI, you're going to run a whole gamut of emotions. You may not always have someone to turn to; you may feel like you don't want to burden those around you with these issues.

Our discussion forums allow you to speak your mind, express your needs, and get real feedback from others who may be in exactly your position - day or night.

Join or start a LymeSpouse Discussion now -- You shouldn't have to face these challenges alone.

LymeSpouse Protocol

Like children, Lyme Disease does not come with an instruction manual.

And while there are several "protocols" available to treat patients, there's really no published standard for helping those that must care for people suffering a TBI.

We can't dictate what Lyme Disease does to our loved one, nor can we dictate how our loved ones will respond to the various challenges that their TBI is presenting to them. However, perhaps we can establish some guidelines for what we can expect as LymeSpouses, and how we can respond and support one another during difficult times. The LSP is an attempt to do just that.
